Chances in Texas

Hi everyone,

I just got my MCAT results back today and I am a little disappointed especially since I felt pretty good about it after the exam. I scored a 505 (128/125/126/126), my previous score was a 504 (125/126/126/127) . What do you guys think my chances are for this app cycle?

• 4.0 sGPA and 3.94 cGPA
• Texas Resident
• 175 Hours of patient volunteering
• 40 hours of shadowing 2 DO's (ortho and family med)
• 200 hours of non clinical community service (homeless shelter, free clinic, church, etc
• Employed at a retail store throughout undergrad
• No research experience

Do you think I should apply to any OOS schools with my stats?

You could try some of the newer schools such as TCU-UNT, Seton Hall, NOVA MD, Oakland Beaumont, Quinnipiac.
