To anyone interested in replying, I'd like to know my chances of acceptance into medical school. I am a prior Navy corpsman with nearly 6 years experience as a surgical technologist. I have been attending college part time and my grades were okay. Mostly c's with some B's at an online university and recently some F's as a result of a toxic marriage and ongoing divorce. I was never pursuing medical school and my major was in cyber security. I never received my bachelors and I decide to transfer to a actual 4 year probate college for a pre med biology major which I was recently accepted and begin in September. None of my pre requisites have been completed therefore my track record should not affect my science GPA. My question is this. Given my clinical experience are my pursuits realistic so long as I make good grades, score high on the MCATS and get a lot of volunteer hours? I've been thinking of doing volunteer EMT.
