Hey guys, I'm applying from a Canadian university and was just wondering what my chances were with the following stats:

GPA: 3.0 (upward trend)
PCAT: 70th (without taking Orgo I/II, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochem, Microbio)
Pharmacy experience: 500 hours
Other healthcare experience: 200 hours
Other experience: A lot (volunteering for sports, schools, events etc.)
Applying end of September (depending on when official PCAT scores are available)

Any input on my chances would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Apply early, don't wait for official scores (assuming you took it, let them know of your prelim and the official scores will be in soon enough)...PCAT isn't the only thing adcom is looking at.,,I'm still waiting for my scores but I already had an interview...they said that if adcom isn't sure about the candidate they will wait for PCAT to make a final decision, if they feel like you are a strong candidate and your prelim is decent, they may admit you using your prelim...Depends on the adcom but it never hurts to try anyway...the bad thing is when you are ok candidate but lots of spots have been filled up and they have only a few seats left for the very best applications...so apply early
