Hi friends. So I recently came across this and just decided to post because I am a huge ball of anxiety. I just was wondering what y'all think my chances of getting into an OT program would be. (I am applying to schools that include but are not limited to: UNC, ECU, Lenoir Rhyne, MUSC, WSSU, Wingate, James Madison etc.)

Here are my stats:
School: Appalachian State University
Cumulative GPA: 3.96
Pre-req GPA: 3.88
GRE: 151 (verbal) 144(quant...freaking out) 4.0 (writing)
Shadowing: Combined 160 hours from outpatient, nursing/sub-acute, and pediatric facilities.
Involvement: Group fitness Instructor, Mental Health Ambassador, various clubs...

I am worried that my application won't get looked at because of my GRE score and I am discouraged because I have worked so hard.

There’s no way to actually tell you what your chances are, but your GPA is awesome and you have plenty of hours of observation. If I were you, I would take the GRE again, if you’re top choices require it (there are plenty of schools who don’t, though). I know they like to see around the 50th percentile. I was able to increase my GRE quite a bit the second time I took it after I became more familiar with the format (Magoosh is great for this). But I wouldn’t discount yourself, the GRE is only a part of your application and any good schools will consider your application as a whole.
