Hey guys just wanted general opinions on my chances of getting into pharmacy schools around chicago. My top choice is UIC but am also considering Midwestern university, roosevelt and rosalind franklin. I already graduated from school but am finishing pre-requisites now and in the fall and plan on applying in August after summer classes. MY cumulative GPA through the school (not pharmcas) is exactly 3.0. I was on probation fall semester of my junior year because i tried to switch majors and was very lost and had no clue what i wanted to do. Then senior year I figured out i wanted to go to pharmacy school, got my grades up, got on the dean's list this past semester and ended up with a 3.0 GPA. I am currently retaking some of my classes because I did have a few D's and C-'s =[ but am trying really hard and plan on getting A's in all my retakes and all pre-reqs that i still have to take. Took the PCAT in July and got a 92 composite with a 99% in chem, an 88 in math and an 82 in bio. Also I have been working in a pharmacy as a technician for the past 5 months now and am getting a LOR from my pharmacist/boss. Just would like to know your opinions and if i even have a chance of getting into UIC. Thanks =]
