Worst case scenario, you can apply pain (follow birdstrike's posts on the EM threads)
Depending on if you are a 3 year or 2 year, you may have to start the application process ASAP and apply to every program.
You'll have a good balance of both pain and EM (possibly UC if you dont want critical patients) and can do well for yourself.
