As far as post-grad specialization admissions go, does it matter where you complete your DDS? Are some schools considered better than others? That being said, if I end up at a TX school next year, are those considered "bad" by admissions committees? THANKS!
 
Yeah, Texas schools suck and you could never specialize by going to a school like Baylor or UTHSCSA

Thanks for the joke response.. but seriously, you go to Baylor.. so fill me in, how are acceptance rates from Baylor for programs?
 
Goal #1: Get ACCEPTED into dental school.
Goal #2: Survive the first couple of years, and if you're still in a place to consider specializing, then talk about it. Until then, chill out and let it ride!
 
It doesn't matter where you go. Every school has people specialize every year. What matters is how you do on your board exams and your class rank.

NBDE >90 + Class rank in top 10% = orthodontist
