Hey all!

So I'll just cut to the chase:

I am currently a Junior (2016) at a reputable state university.

Freshman Year: overall 3.0 gpa including
> C+ in gen chem 1
> D in gen chem 2 (retook for an A-)

Sophomore year: overall 4.0 gpa including
>A's in orgo 1 & 2
>A's in physics 1
>A's in 2 other upper level biology class.

This upcoming year I intend to keep this good-grade trend going (I had a very rough freshman year). I am also starting research this semester and I have very good ECs (Active EMT, Tutor for Orgo, TA etc.) which I plan to expand even more. I have already began studying for my MCAT which is in January so I am aiming for a mid-30's grade.

Pretty much I am wondering if I am "out of the races" for M.D. schools?

Thanks for reading up to this point and responding :)

You should be okay if you don't let any more bad semesters happen. Just keep getting A's
