Hey guys. So I have a 3.57 science GPA, tons of EC's (volunteering + shadowing at hospital, 1 year of Parkinson's research at great lab, etc).., and i'm not sure if this is downward trend, but at my school we can take biology any quarter as long as we finish in series, and the times I've taken it (second year and this past quarter as a junior) i haven't done that great, in all honesty. and it's only biology that is my weakness.. this past fall quarter I received my worse grade, thanks to.. biology x_x. all my math/chem grades are A/A-'s, phyiscs: A,B.

What MCAT score would I need to get into any medical school?

PS: i go to ucla.. pretty competitive premed "program:

What's your cGPA? Assuming your cGPA and sGPA are roughly 3.6, you would probably want to shoot for a 32+ MCAT. Cali schools then of course a lil higher. IMO, don't worry about what you "need" to get into med school but just give it your best shot in studying and sharpen those test taking skills. You need to walk into the testing center with the mentality that you'll get a 45. 🙂

sorry i mean my science is a 3.55, culm is a 3.6

thanks for the advice. i'm definitely applying when i have a higher mcat to compensate for the gpa!~
