Hi I have a 3.2 gpa with a 2.9 science due to an awful freshman year I have taken the mcat 4 times scores are
1st time-21
2nd-23
3rd-27
4th-33
My question is do i have a chance anywhere my mcat is good but it was after 4 times and my gpa is lower than avg. Please help I am so fed up with the whole process of trying to get in.
thanks

find schools like tufts and mcw that accept recent scores, or the best scores. Apply everywhere, you should get in if you have a strong remainder of the app. Not to mention, adcoms like to see improvement

Damn...MCAT 4 times. that's 32 hours of straight up real MCAT. Someone better let you in after that.

I hope someone realizes how much i want to get in anyone willing to sit through that G-d forsaken exam 4 times(without getting paid to) deserves at least an interview somewhere.

You have aa 23% chance of being accepted.

lol where did you get that number from? To tell you the truth I'l take it I am desperate

Would people stop with these stupid chances thread. Look, if you really want to be a doc, then apply and see what happens. None of us sit on a committee to tell you what your chances are.

You should apply, but see if you cant bring that science GPA up some in 1 year by doing a post-bacc. The disparity between your overall GPA and your science GPA probably means that you arent a science major and that the pre-reqs are your only science courses (with a few extra maybe). Thus you can bring your sci. gpa up to a 3.2 pretty easily. Then you are money!
