What are my chancese at Podiatry schools? applying this cycle.

Co-Author of a published research in American Heart Association, Hypertension Journal.

I have 101 volunteer hours at VCU/MCV Hospital. Departments:
1. Surgical Trauma ICU
2. Surgical Services
3. Occupational Therapy
4. Post Anesthesia Care Unit
5. Palliative Care Unit.

I have been a active volunteer for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Shadowed 2 physicians:
Nephrologist and a cardiothoracic surgeon

Lots of extra-curricular activities

Seeing as just barely 2 months ago you were dead set on DO/MD I would make it a point to shadow (as mentioned above) and get a much better understanding of podiatry if you haven't.

Take time to asses what YOU expect from your future in medicine before making a decision.
