Change in Prometric materials???

Hi all,

I was wondering if Prometric still gives you a dry-erase board and 2 dry-erase markers or laminated paper and markers. If it's the latter, how many sheets do you get and what type of markers are given? Permanent or dry erase? Fine tipped or medium? Sorry if I sound nit picky - I just want to know what to expect for the big day!!

haha i found their logic to be a bit flawed. I got 2 "dry erase" boards which are really laminated paper. the problem was i got WET ERASE markers and a dry erase eraser=MAD SMUDGES. i ended up with black marker all over me, yet you can't bring your own stuff. i don't know if this was just my test center that made the mix up or if it's across the board. I think they were fine tip but not extra fine. hope this helps 😀

Is it 2 new sheets for each section, (QR, Physics, Chem)? If I needed more space do they give you something to erase/wipe or a new sheet? Dry Erase/permanent markers give me a headache and for some reason the scent also upsets my stomach. Is there a way to get paper & pen/pencil instead?

My prometric center gave me 2 laminated sheets and 2 fine tipped non-permanent markers. Whenever I needed more sheets I had to raise them up in the air and they would replace them.

I just took it last week. So, they give you 2 dry erase board and 2 dry erase pen. NO dry eraser. So, if you run out of dry erase board and eraser, you actually have to get up and see the person in charge to get a new one. Which really sux, because they are actually taking time away from your exam. They will NOT give you any more than 2 of each item.
