Hi So I applied under a certain major... and I plan to change my major going into my senior year. The majors are similar... but I want to know if dental school acceptances will be affected by this major change.. slash will they even know I changed my major???

I'm doing the same thing. You have to send a transcript after your first semester anyways so they'll find out eventually.

It depends on what "similar" entails... I feel like if you're changing your major from Bachelors of Science in Biology to Bachelors of Art in Biology that shouldn't be too big of a deal... also, is there any reason to why you're changing your major?

In my experience, dental schools do not care about what major you choose as long as the prereqs are satisfied before matriculation you're good

Does anyone know if schools frown upon certain majors such as psychology? I am geniunely interested in it and dont want it to bring my credentials down in anyway

I majored in Psychology and I think they found it fascinating. They thought it was cool that I was different from the norm (Bio an Chem majors).
In all 5 of my interviews, they all asked me about my major and why I did it. If anything, majoring in psychology was more of an ice breaker for them. soo..totally not frowned upon.
