How is this done? Cna you just access the original application + change the info or something?

I'd like to know as well. I'm at home now, so I want to put my home address. But when august arrives, I want to change it to my apt. address so I get everything right away. Anyone know how this works?

Yes, you can access your AMCAS and change your address. I am matriculating this fall and still had to change my name (got married) and address on my AMCAS because my med school gets their info for my file from the AMCAS, not the registrar.

I know you have to recertify your application, but I'm not sure how often the schools download updates from AMCAS. In other words, even if you change your address on AMCAS, will the school download your address change? It might be worth calling a couple of admissions offices and asking them.

I have a question about this too. I need to change my phone number- my application is submitted and waiting to be reviewed. It says when I try to change it that I have to "resubmit" the application. Do I lose my place in line if I do?
