Change to Early Decision after Being Verified?

I don't know if this has been asked before (probably has):

I've submitted my amcas and listed a few schools, regular decision - got verified last week.

Recently, given many factors, I have decided that I BADLY want to do ED at my state school.

Is this possible? I called AAMC today and they were incredibly vague about what I can/cannot do. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It's possible if the school you're wanting to do ED at will allow it. If they do, you'll need to withdraw your application from the other medical schools you applied to, if any.
