Changes in bonuses for dentists

Any of you active duty guys heard any truth to the rumor that all branches are considering a restructure of the bonuses regarding dentists and physicians, basically making less classifications of bonuses ( i.e. ASP, VSP, BCP, ISP) which could possibly lead to an increase in the compensation amount for dentists.

The services have been working on consolidating special pays for years. It is a process that is being worked now and sometime in the near future, I would expect the names and numbers of special pays to change. I don't know how much stock I'd put into the idea that it might increase $$, but it won't decrease it.
