I need to change a transcript request in amcas after I already submitted. I am cross enrolling in the fall in one course at another school that I haven't taken any other classes at. So there is no transcript for that school since I haven't even taken the class yet. I accidentally clicked transcript required when entering in the school. So now my app says pending and I am trying to do ED, when submission and transcript are due Aug 1.
I plan on calling AMCAS tomorrow. I was wondering if this happened to anyone else. And if anyone know how AMCAS will deal with it.

I had to add a school after I submitted and this is what happened: First, they told me to have the school send the transcript (in your case, they may have to send a letter that says no transcript is available, although they may just be fix it for you, although I found them to be more about you correcting your own error which you can only do by talking that school into sending a letter). When they get that, they'll change your status. Second, they may have you write a letter stating that you made an "inadvertent error" on your application when you certified it.
I was really worried and, like you, could do nothing because it was late in the day. They were awesome on the phone and said these things happen all the time and gave me step by step instructions on how to fix it.
Sorry your app is being delayed but you're still ok 🙂
