Hey guys, I was planning on taking statistics next semester, since it is a requirement at many California med schools (and others), and I put that down on my AMCAS. But it turns out that I've been accepted to one of my top choices back East - the likelihood of me going to a school that requires statistics now is essentially 0.
Do you think it's ok to drop it? Would I need to mail all my schools to inform them or do you think it's ok to not tell them? I did a search for threads and one of them said you have no obligation to take classes you designate as Future on AMCAS, but I'm not sure if you are still supposed to inform schools of the change. I really don't want to take this class (and not taking it will save me $3000 since they go above the 18 units that are included in the flat tuition fee at my school).
What do you think? Anyone doing something similar?
