Hey all~

After a lot of thought, I pretty much changed my entire spring semester schedule as far as my science classes are concerned. Do I need to update my AMCAS, send update letters to schools, both, or neither?

I don't think you can update on AMCAS once you submitted your application. As far as letting the schools know that you have changed your schedule, I think you should if the classes concern your pre-reqs (like bio, general chem, o-chem, etc.)

I wouldn't say anything until accepted. Once you're accepted/if already accepted send the appropriate contact person an e-mail and ask if it will affect anything.

I changed a class after mine was complete, and the school e-mailed me back saying they only care about the pre-reqs.

They likely aren't accepting based on what you're GOING to take. It shouldn't be an issue.
