Hi I have been looking around at this forum for sometime now but this is my first time posting. I have been accepted into both Chapman and Sacramento State's program. I would prefer to stay in Northern California and that along with the lower tuition makes Sac appealing. My concern is that Sac has only one Gross Anatomy course in the curriculum while most other schools have at least 2. I know Chapman is a really good school. Does anyone have any insight into this? I would appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

Congrats on your acceptances! 🙂Personally I would say Sacramento. Public school tuition is a life saver with PT school and if if you have the opportunity to pay less tuition, take it. Especially because state schools tend to be more competitive. I'm waitlisted at CSULB and really hoping I get in just cause of tuition costs 🙁 I'm not too familiar with Sacramento's program but I wouldn't be too worried about the single anatomy course. I've heard of other programs that only offer a single Gross Anatomy course. Especially if the program still has a high board pass rate! Hope this helps and goodluck 🙂

I would say stick with Sac State to save on tuition. And if you're still living at home, think about how much you'll save on cost of living as well.

Thanks, I'm definitely leaning towards Sac. I have heard mixed reviews so I was a little worried.

I'm familiar with Sac State's DPT program, so if you have any questions feel free to PM me :hello:
