Character reference LOR

I just received a secondary that was asking for personal character references as LOR's and i'm wondering what to ask my recommenders to say. I know the prompt would be to 'analyze the applicant's character' but are there specific questions that should be addressed? My recommenders were asking me, but i wasn't sure. Any thoughts?

You're lucky if your writers are asking you these questions. My writers all wanted to do it their own way.

Do a web search and find a LOR advice site... print it and give it to them.

Also, develop a list of qualities individualized for each letter writer - the list should include the things you think the letter writer can comment positively on. Ask them to evaluate you based on those qualities. Welcome to the world of political spin!!!
