Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether we can send additonal letters of recommendations on top of the required 3 letters? Their instructions do not mention a maximum and there is no indication that they want ONLY 3 (like UC Davis does). I figure sending one more letter that's also helping in revealing who I am to the admissions committee couldn't hurt... right?

I've emailed them asking this question and I've done a search on this board to no avail. Does anyone know?

I called Drew and asked the same question. The person I talked to said that they recommend three letters, and I asked if I could send in extra letters, and she responded that they recommend three letters, without giving me an actual yes or no to my question. So I ended up just sending three letters.

Yeah, why the heck can't they just say the max is 3. Oh well, we'll see if they reject me for sending four 😉

And i'm only sending the fourth because i don't want to choose between it and my third one. both are from different activities that relate to the community and I've worked with both writers closely and am confident that they wrote a great letter. I just can't choose between them

Are you folks applying to Drew even with the situation going on there. I also got a secondary but don't think I will turn it in because of the situation surrounding the hospital. They recently lost their 200 million medicare funding...so it seems like the tip of the iceberg.

I only sent three because I didn't feel as strongly about sending a fourth letter, but I think you'll be fine. I'm guessing that the worst that will happen is that they just won't look at the fourth letter.
