got an interview for PCO, i have not set a date yet, but which site gives you the cheapest airfare and hotel? the cheapest i've seen so far range from 380 and up. also which hotel should i stay at, i don't care about the star ratings, just whatever is clean and rodent free. any suggestions? preferably one near the school, or wherever the interview is held. please let me know! thx! :scared:

here's one thing i would have done if i was go to back again -

take the train to the school/hotel. I took the shuttle and it costed about $60US. you have to do some researching to find out which route, but you end up saving LOTS of money.. the train is only a couple dollars.

Also, the school suggests Courtyard by Marriot - it was way too overpriced there- came to $260 canadian for me.. for one night.. it was a beautiful hotel, but definitely not worth it.. plus it wasnt even that close to the school - a $25 taxi ride.

good luck

Cheapest airfare an hotel is by far hotwire.com. However you can't pick the time of day you're leaving. So it can be at 6am or late at nite. But it saves money.

i stayed at the holiday inn city line. lobby and facilities are nice, the room is average. the cab ride to the school cost me about $25 also, but i believe this is about one of the most accessible hotels in the area that will have taxi's readily available. I've heard some people waiting 40+ minutes for a taxi in the elkins park area, eventhough the loaction of the hotel was much closer to the school.

Yes! The train was MUCH cheaper! I took a taxi to the hotel (I stayed downtown) and to PCO the next morning. About $40-60 (don't quite remember) each ride. After the interview, oranges and I rode the train straight to the airport and that was so much better.
