I applied last year and sent a check. I waited five weeks and they still had not received it. I put my social sec. #, name, ect... on the check. They could not release my scores to the schools until it was paid for so.......
I put it on my credit card (don't like telling my numbers over the phone, but had to
, just to get it paid.
Not even a week later, they mailed me the check back saying the account was paid in full. They had the check the whole time, and well, you can tell how incredibly well managed and smooth amcas does things.
My advice is to do the credit card thing, its quicker and you can find out if it was processed my calling the credit card company (toll free) and not amcas.
