Hi all,

I'm wondering if the site to check admissions decisions for UNC is separate from the application site itself.

I'm also wondering if anyone has gotten any information from Harvard besides the confirmation email, about how/where to check decisions.

Thanks so much!

I have no idea how they communicate the admissions decision, but I wouldn't worry about it (for now)... from what I remember from a conversation with UNC the other month, they don't expect to begin sending out decisions until late January.

HSPH will send you an email when they have made a decision, with a link to a web site, and a temporary login/password. Should be around early March if it's the same as last year.

Hey cihp, how long after SOPHAS mailed your app to Harvard did you get the confirmation email? SOPHAS reportedly mailed mine out almost three weeks ago and I have yet to hear anything back...

Harvard took approx 3 weeks to respond. If you're concerned, I'd recommend just calling them directly; oftentimes they keep your application in a pile until it's "processed" so they can probably check to see if they've at least received it...

It took a little over a month from SOPHAS mailing to Harvard confirmation for me.

PS thanks for the responses everyone! Happy holidays 🙂

OK. Guess I'm worrying about nothing... SOPHAS sent out a "revised" app on the 17th, so I suppose I can wait until mid-January before worrying. Thanks for the responses, guys.
