I've tried this problem like a million times but I keep getting the wrong answer...only got 1 submission left online 🙁 ...does the DAT actually have problems like this?

You have two 578.0 mL aqueous solutions. Solution A is a solution of silver nitrate, and solution B is a solution of potassium chromate. The masses of the solutes in each of the solutions are the same. When the solutions are added together, a blood-red precipitate forms. After the reaction has gone to completion, you dry the solid and find that it has a mass of 331.8 g.

a)Calculate the concentration of the potassium ions in the original potassium chromate solution

b)Calculate the concentration of the chromate ions in the final solution

If you get a question like this on the DAT........skip it.

i did not have a problem that hard on my DAT.

have you used Topscore? those problems are similar to the DAT and the DATachiever is a little harder but good as practice.

Think topscore chemistry was harder. The real DAT chemistry was a joke. If you study Kaplan blue book for the exam, you should be more than prepared for the chemistry section.
