Hello everyone,

I need help on a chem question. here is the question:

A sample of a compound contains .90 g of element A and .60 g of element B. If the atomic weight of A is 60 g/mole and that of B is 40 g/mole, then what is the empirical formula for this compund?

It should be AB.
A= .9/60=.15
B= .6/40=.15
