I am debating whether I should travel to 2 interviews at residency programs in the Chicago area, specifically Northwestern and Loyola (running out of $ in this proccess). I have heard great things about U Chicago but was wondering how these other programs are since I have not heard as much about them. I have interviewed mainly at places on east coast (Columbia, JHU, MGH, UPENN and others) but not sure how Loyola and Northwestern compare. Obviously this is very subjective but I just was interested at some input since I am not from the area. I am interested in strong research programs and dermpath.

Did you ever read the book The Road? That's what you need to train for. CMS will see that it is our future.
