I interviewed at Loyola in Chicago and the PD told me that they will likely be getting approval for 6 spots (two per class) in the next couple months.

that means 2 positions for the CA-1, CA-2, and CA-3 positions should become available for July 2008 (maybe earlier?).

I was told to call back in March or April and they would know for sure then.

I called Loyola in Chicago last week and they said ACGME is meeting this week to decide on giving them approval for additional spots in July. If your looking i would give them a call now. I dont think im interested in moving to Chicago anymore so i thought I would pass this info along. Good Luck!😀
