Taking the child board next month. any recs on my psych board or board vitals?
mpb seems relatively new and double the price compared to bv.
reviewing old prites. not that great of a test taker although child prites seem relatively easy.

Cannot speak to MPB as I didn't use it. BV is okay, but I found several questions that were straight up wrong. They were responsive to being informed of this, but the way they reworded the question just made the question more confusing instead of just fixing the answer. I still do the questions because they're free at my institution and I can collect the CME from them. Decent imo not the greatest.

Boardvitals were fine, didn't use MPB either. Agree with Stagg that I also found at least one question that was wrong (think it was a developmental one) that I had to submit for correction. Guess it helps you stay on top of things lol.

I wouldn't spend a bunch of money on a qbank unless you've failed before or something and I think boardvitals is the cheapest for the amount of questions you get. It's probably good enough. I only did boardvitals and reviewed 2-3 old prites.

i find child prite to be relatively easy but BV is actually somewhat tricky granted i only did 100 Qs so far. hoping the actual exam isn't significantly challenging.

Did BV and felt it was completely fine but this was nearing a decade ago so I am not sure how much has changed. I still think diligent old PRITE reviews is probably the highest yield if you have access to 5-7 years of them. Could certainly save the money on BV if you have the PRITEs and score >50 percentile on them historically. Even though the material is a fair bit different, I have found adult PRITE and board scores have a very high "r" with child PRITE and board scores.

I'm currently doing beat the boards and the qbank is frustrating-ish. I mostly bought it because it was a group deal and the price is stupid if not for that. I drive a lot for my current rotations so the btb lectures have been pretty good.

I have a study guide that I need to review and some child prites as well. I felt like I was better prepared for adult boards a year ago for some reason. I felt like I was overprepared for those when I got my scores back so I'm hoping that I do okay for CAP as well.
