choosing a full ride: CWRU vs Pitt vs UIC vs Merced

i have full rides at four of these schools as a prospective neuroscience major (where neuro is not available, i'm looking to double major in bio and cog sci). here are the pros and cons for each school

CWRU

PROS:
highest ranked school out of all four
cwru med is fantastic
cleveland clinic is literally right there

CONS:
practically in my backyard (half hour drive from home)
not super diverse compared to these other schools (no pakistani students association😞)

Pitt

PROS:
pitt med is very highly reputed
relatively more diverse (has pakistani students association!)
neuroscience program looks interesting

CONS:
weather’s not much better
large student body could make it harder to stand out, establish relationships with profs or get research opportunities

UIC

PROS:
has relatively good med school
suuuper diverse (large and active pakistani students association)
chicago is a phenomenal city! i would love to live there

CONS:
not much of a campus feel
i could see the potential pitfalls of living in chicago

Merced

PROS:
giving me the most money (40k in surplus)
pretty diverse (large and active south asian students association)
their med school is opening this year, could place me at an advantage in terms of reserach

CONS:
no neuroscience major
merced as a town leaves… something to be desired

Cwru for sure. The opportunities it provides for pre meds is remarkable. Pitt has the higher ranked medical school, but being a Pitt undergraduate doesn’t really make you more likely to get into Pitt med. so I would choose Cwru

wow so not even considering the other two schools?
