hello every one,
Can some one tell me about their experiences working as an intern and PL-2 at this program . I know its a huge program. I am getting tranfer to this program s PL-2, but I am really slightly scard if i would be able to survive in this program. I am an IMG and has don internship at other USA program. I have not had any pediatric residency outside USA. I want to know about seniors and attendings, are they supportive and freindly and have tolerance for mistakes?, I dont want to be a program where i may get evalvations poor nad being asked to leave the program in 6-8 months. how do they evalvate PL-2 at CHOP. Please give me sincere advice. I am really confused if I am making right decision. I am getting tranfer for family reason.

This is a confusing post, you make getting transferred seem like a decision you did not make for yourself, like an athlete gets traded. If you are serious, I recommend contacting the program director or residency coordinator at CHOP and asking for the names of some of your future classmates, the current interns. You might particularly want the contact info for other IMG's who have had similar experiences, though that's up to you. You could then arrange to speak with those people about your concerns, plus you would know a few folks when you show up in July.
