Hey, I was fortunate enough to get accepted into my top two choices. I didn't think I would have this decision, but now that I do, it is extremely difficult. So, I am wondering if there are any students currently going to either school that could give me some honest answers on the curriculum, professors, and classmates. I am wondering who provides the better experience. Obviously, there is an enormous courseload, but I want to know who is having fun in pharmacy school when they're not studying? Please PM me with any insight. I really appreciate it.

I've attended both Ohio State and Cincinnati and I would have to go with Ohio State. The campus is nicer, more diverse, more good food and the pharmacy building itself is nicer too. They're both quarter system, so you have the same breaks. Tuition is about the same, and so is the parking situation.

What I don't like about Cincinnati is their lack of consistency in the grading scale. I think it's unfair in a way. Some professors don't give +/-. Some make an A is 97%, some make it 95%, some 93%, some 92%..etc..etc..It should be the same throughout. The course material is also very inconsistent. For example, at OSU, O-chem 1 consists of Chapters 1-5, O-chem 2 consists of 6-10 or whatever, but at Cincinnati, one professor would cover 1-4,6 and then the other would cover 1-5. I know that everybody has a different teaching style, but what they cover should be the same. But when you're in professional school, I guess it doesn't matter.
