Cincinnati
Pros:
  1. $: that sweet IS tuition after 1st year (or immediately if you choose to live in Northern KY)
  2. Extended family (born and raised in CA)
  3. Loved the faculty
  4. Super high STEP scores (avg 241 last class for STEP 1)
Cons:
  1. Not much to do in Cincy imo
  2. not a whole lot of CA matching (yes, this is biased in many ways)
  3. Least favorite campus (still nice though!)
  4. Not interested in Peds (top program for that field)
Colorado
Pros:
  1. LOVED Denver - outdoors + skiing + city
  2. Favorite campus
  3. Closer to home (CA)
  4. Probably the highest ranked (maybe not by much?)
Cons:
  1. $$$: Holy COW their tuition is outrageous (COA ~90k with no chance of IS tuition)
  2. No friends or family (first time by myself)
Medical College of Wisconsin
Pros:
  1. New campus with lots and LOTS of study spaces
  2. SO will probably attend here!! (many years together, very serious)
  3. Lots of CA matching (yes, this is biased in many ways)
  4. Milwaukee seems to be an up-and-coming city
  5. Cheapest cost of living
Cons:
  1. I will be miserably cold probably half the year
  2. Wauwatosa, WI ain't that happening
  3. HUGE class size (200+)
  4. Private tuition is 55k per year
  5. Least friendly vibe of the 3
  6. Homogenous through and through (public, faculty and students- though they are trying to improve diversity on their end!)

I lean towards MCW for you. I feel like having your SO there with you is pretty big, especially if you're very serious—4 years is a long time to be apart! Don't worry about whether there's fun in Wauwatosa or not—everyone in the greater Milwaukee area goes to Milwaukee downtown anyways to have fun.
