Technology Cingular 8125 Pocket PC

I'm thinking about getting one for the start of med school in August.

Good idea? The guy at Cingular said it was the best (that Cingular had) for med school needs...let me know what you think.

a better bet would be the treo 680 or 650 both sold at cingular. I wouldn't listen to what the cingular people have to say about equipment for med school as they probably have no idea about the type of medical software that is available for these smartphones.

I personally do not like the windows platform for PDAs, but to be fair you might, so go to one of the stores and check both of them out. also do a search here about which to buy, it's been discussed ad nauseum.

Actually, they just released the update to the 8125, you would be better off getting that one.

spikey is referring to the 8525 which is a pretty sweet machine but I'm still sold on the palm OS being the best for medical apps and ease of use.
