Citizenship and VA Residency

Hey everybody, I just became a naturalized citizen and my question is whether or not VA residencies accept naturalized citizens as well. I have heard mixed thoughts about the topic and I was wondering if anyone knew for sure?

Yes.

A fellow classmate of mine became a naturalized citizen during 4th year and went to a VA for residency.
