One of my top choices is an OOS school that doesn't allow you to change residency to gain IS tuition after one year. If I were to go to this school and my spouse who is a nurse gets a job there and we apply for state residency does anyone know if it would be possible of getting in state tuition then since my spouse would work full time?

I know of one school that makes you sign a form- if you are accepted as out of state, then you remain out of state for tuition purposes.

Most schools will make you sign an affidavit of sorts, that states you can't change your residency.

However, i have spoken to a couple schools (Minnesota, Michigan) that will make an exception if you have a working spouse. Every school is different, so i would call the schools in question.
