% Class Filled @ CCOM/UMDNJSOM

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I dont know about CCOM or UMDNJ, but DMU is at ~65% after this interview cycle according to an email I just recieved from thier admin office. So just email the admin office and ask, seems that most schools are open about such things as well as admitted students stats.

CCOM was ~50% in Dec. pre xmas.
by now I imagine it to be in the vicinity of 75%

Does anyone know about any other schools % already accepted?

70 - 75% sounds right for CCOM...

i would suspect they will be near 100% by May, and will accept waitlisted applicants if spots open up through summer.

Just spoke to someone at PCOM-Ga who was very monotone and told me that almost all of the spots are filled and it would be pointless to fill out a secondary at this point..

so there's the verdict on pcom-ga.🙄

I like this thread let's keep it alive😀

Just called PCOM. About 2/3 of class is already full. They've had 4000 applicants and they interview 500.

I like this thread too. Gives some of us waiting an idea of what little chance we have left. 😳 Anyone know the percentages of any of the other schools? Like UNECOM, LECOM-Bradenton, NOVA? I am starting to get a little depressed at this point. 🙁

does anyone have any idea how full kcom/unecom/umdnj's classes are?
i'm asking b/c i've submitted secondaries to all the rest of my schools i initially designated, but i'm still thinking about filling these secondaries out now b/c i haven't gotten an acceptance yet. i'm assuming it's probably too late, but i thought i'd try to get a rough idea of how full these classes are.

I interviewed at LECOM-Bradenton on Jan 19th and they said they were half-full. They also said that 7,000 people applied, they will grant 700 interview invites, and will have a class size of only 150. I'm not sure how many acceptances they will give out of the 700 interviews though. I am declining my acceptance there today, however, so another spot for you just opened up! 👍 🙂

7,000 people applied! Whoa!

yeah 7000 is a lot of applicants...

DMU 'only' had 2500 apps. So Im guessing that 7000 is a bit of a farce.

Anyone know about PCSOM? Or DCOM?

Best way is to call and ask. It seems like most schools are pretty receptive to this question.

From what i have heard MSUCOM is almost completely full. They said they have offered all of their seats to people and so are waitlisting most of their worthy applicants now. However they also said that they do not overbook their class and so send out only 200 invites, which is what their class size is and that is the reason their waitlist moves a lot.
P.S. I hope that waitlist keeps moving and i get off it. MSUCOM is my #1 choice.

bump for those of us still waiting...

you're kidding me, right? even the top DO med schools didnt have those figures ... unless possibly PCOM.

Does anyone know what % is filled at NYCOM? (Just asking for a friend who interviewed over a week ago).

At a ccom interview they told us 4500 applicants had applied (up 20% from the previous year). I am guessing that they are still receiving applications.

I called UMDNJ and was told that 50 seats are filled and they will interview until April. Strange?😕

That doesn't sound right. I would think that there are more seats filled. When did you call? Last year around this time, most seats seem to have been filled because people who were interviewing in April were told that they were interviewing for a waitlist spot.
