Hi,
any tips on how to perfect this prep? my walls suck and my prep is so wide. Only bur i can use is a 330 and i gotta avoid using the slow speed as much as possible. any and all advice is appreciated.

I assume it is typodont. Mark the outline with pencil
Use #330 and try to bury it 2/3 of threads down first to leave the rest for the hatchet. The speed should be about 50K. In order to make walls smooth use even slower speed. Try to make your outline in minimum passes, each pass widens your prep. Make floor flat with hatchet

Why can you only use a 330 and avoid using a slow speed? are you excavating decay on a real tooth? in that case you should be using a slow speed

also if it is typodont you can always slow down your bur and you can smooth your walls very well with very low speeds.

I know you can't use it right now but when you can the 830 diamond bur is God send

Drill to depth with 330. Make it just wide enough to get a 34 in the prep. 34 on slow speed to widen a little, smooth walls, flatten floor, and give convergence. 35 if 34 is too small.
