I noticed that a lot of applicants had a lot of success in getting into medical school for the class of 2013. If you've made your final decision on which school you attended, could you write down which schools you withdrew from? A little hope for those still on waiting lists.

Congratulations to you all!

TO ADD YOURSELF:
1. CLICK "QUOTE" IN THE MOST RECENT LIST.
2. REMOVE THE "QUOTE TAGS" AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF THE MESSAGE. (THOSE ARE THE (QUOTE=username;123456) and (/QUOTE) EXCEPT WITH BRACKETS IN PLACE OF THE PARENTHESES.
3. ADD YOURSELF.
4. WRITE WHAT YOU DID IN THE TITLE AT THE TOP.
5. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT RIGHT, THEN JUST ASK TO BE ADDED (WITHOUT QUOTING THE WHOLE LIST).

Okay, so no one who has been accepted to more than one school has made their decision yet? Wow!

Hey I was accepted at LECOM-Erie, LECOM-Bradenton, LMU-DCOM, RVU and Nova and I am going to Nova starting this August. Hope that helps!

I withdrew from LMU-DCOM back in December as I will be attending WVSOM.

So that mean 4 spots have opened up at LMU-DCOM, right?😀

Good idea for a thread...Gives people on wait lists a bit more hope.:xf:

Also if you withdrew prior to giving a deposit then I don't think you really need to post here since it really doesn't make a difference for people waiting for a spot, correct?

LECOM-B: bioman2006 (2/14)
LMU-DCOM: bioman2006 (2/14)
PCOM-GA: bioman2006 (4/12)
TUCOM-NV: waitwhat (3/20)

Withdrew from LECOM-E and WVSOM in December...

I withdrew from KCUMB and DMU. I'm going PCOM.

Good luck guys. Hope this helps someone.

I think you should take in account when people have withdrawn. If people withdrew before April 1 I would not "bank" on their seat influence the admissions decision for someone on the waitlist currently.

I withdrew from all DO schools in October. I don't think that's going to help.

If you withdrew from ALL DO schools, how come it still shows you're going to PCOM?

Of course, no one should "bank" on anything...it's just another list of how the application season is shaping up. There have been a number of applicants who have had good success by receiving multiple acceptances :xf:and I guess it would be nice to hear what final decision they have made (if made, because it may not be an easy decision), and what schools may have a spot thought of as closed, as now open.

I had put down the $1500 deposit for LECOM-Seton Hill in March, and was accepted late to PCOM in April which is where I'll be going. I just officially withdrew the LECOM seat last week (waited until I had the money together and sent in the $2000 deposit to PCOM just in case) so I think that seat will probably go to someone on the waitlist soon if it hasn't already...

Withdrew from VCOM and LECOM in mid-October

Going to CCOM. Withdrew from NOVA, DMU, and LECOM. Pretty tough choice but I think its right decision for me.😀
