Yeah, the weather is pretty lame here in Baltimore. It's been raining almost all week 👎

Ugh, we should have just quit life and hopped on the cruise with Lyss and her bf :cry:

I've had (in order): Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T as cell phone providers and T-Mobile was definitely the worst of all four. My connection was always spotty with them. I wish I had Verizon back 🙁

Nope! Haven't found any of people that go to my school yet. That would be awesome though... But still, I've read two blogs so far and this is the third. All women, all are now married, which gives me hope (although I think two of them were dating before they started med school and the other ended up with someone in her class like right from the start).

I'll be beating my head on my desk until then. I have nothing to do anymore.

I have too much to do. I vacillate between hoping my experiment goes smoothly and hoping it goes so badly that I get to just go ahead and leave early.

I actually prefer having a really basic phone. As long as it can call and text, I'm good. I don't need all the bells and whistles. I don't even think I've ever used the camera on my phone.

Haha, I'm a texting fiend and have unfortunately developed the urge to know everything immediately if I can't recall it myself - so I use the web browser on my phone constantly.

Smartphone = 👍 😀

I used to be a basic phone person. Then my mother gave me her old blackberry. 😱 I broke it about a month and half ago and I miss it so much. It was so handy! And I was less glued to my computer because I could check my email and be in touch with my bf without it.

Unless you have an iPhone or something, I think the screen is way too small to be used as a viable web browser. And I still don't know how people type on their Blackberries. Those buttons are ridiculously small!!

I found the buttons very comfortable on my Blackberry Curve, but I do have small hands.

I sold my body to science today and had to do a glucose tolerance test (did well; they were impressed with my results. Yay not being diabetic!) and they weighed me on a Body Composition Analyzer.

The economy appears to be on the start of a recovery. I like to read bloomberg.com and finance.yahoo.com when you guys are away.

Yeah, I was watching MSNBC or something a few weeks ago and they said several economists are predicting the recession will be over(ish) in third quarter but almost all said they think it'll definitely be over by Q1 of 2010.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Haha, that's a random question if I ever saw one. Noxema and astringent, but its complexion dependent. Plus, pores enlarge and oil production increases in the summer so everyone's skin suffers around this time of year.

Dairy gives me acne. True story. I think I have a mild allergy to lactose still.

I don't think it has any dairy products in it...does it?? Use something with salicylic acid in it, better for your skin.

I just use noxzema because I can use it on my sunburn too - the two-for-one deal is always a plus 👍

Why does Baltimore's public transportation get such bad rep?

Unreliable schedule, prone to strikes (at least last year), and a lot of people have gotten attacked while riding it. The "metro" we have is a joke that goes to all of 5 places that are far from the more popular parts of the city.

Which sucks because I won't have my car next year 🙁

EDIT: not necessarily a lot, but a good number of crimes are reported while using public transportation...but I blame that on people not paying attention to their surroundings and generally being dumb.

I do nothing to my skin. I know, blasphemous. After shaving I will wash my face with Noxema and apply skin cream. Otherwise, I just let the shower take care of it. I don't break out often, and if I do its usually one pimple.

My recommendation is Proactiv, in all honesty. It helped me during my "youth" but when I got older I stopped using it because I grew out of breakouts. There are knockoffs that supposedly work just as well and are much cheaper than the $60/box Proactive. If you don't want to go that route keep your face moisturized, use sunblock, and wash it with Clean&Clear, Noxema, etc. I really like Noxema because its mentholated, making it smell and feel good.
