How is that contradictory to Rice's claim? Rice is working a job in New England--he doesn't live there or go to school there either. Presumably What Up Doc is working the same job this summer.

This is new for me because i don't particularly love babies in general, but this is a family baby! :d i'm going to crochet a blanket, but they don't want to know the sex (rather, the wife doesn't). I'm hoping she changes her mind because i have no idea what color to make a unisex blanket. 😕



I'm waiting for an android phone. There's a bunch coming out this summer/fall so i'm going to see what they're like. If they're terrible, then i'll go with the iphone 3gs. But if not, i'd rather go with google. I love google. 😍

Have you guys heard about google wave? I'm so excited for it. I think it'll be awesome for keeping in touch with my boyfriend, and for sharing class notes and such.



Yeah, that sounds about right. I'll see if i can figure out about how much i lose by not starting an ira/roth ira now, versus how much i'll have to pay if i take that money out in loans.



You know, i really liked that movie, but i wish it hadn't been advertised as "the feel good movie of the year!" a lot of it was actually kind of depressing (not in a way that made the movie bad though) and i wasn't expecting that.

No, you are right, what I said does not necessarily contradict Rice. Actually, now that I think of it, that info is probably irrelevant (which I am guessing you realize, smartypants). However, I really do not think he is working there. Could I be wrong? Yep, but i'm usually right. 😉

I was just thinking most people work around home, around their home institution, etc, after graduation but before med school. I can't imagine him working in Boston, unless he will be there in the fall for medical school, but i'm not at liberty to comment on that.

Can I tell everyone where you are/were working to divert attention?!

I did OK in Vegas, made it out only $47 down for 4 days, which I'll count as a win 😀 Didn't get to drink really, cuz i was there with my parents, but we saw some good shows 🙂

That's definitely a win 👍 I lost $150 in about an hour at the poker table, ended up down 3x that for my 5 day trip.

Did you see the Topless show with Kelly Monaco and Holly Madison? 😀

Hi, yes, I am still around! I was watching the game, sorry. Sadly, I'm on SDN pretty frequently.

Lol, it was a joke. Why would I threaten you? That would be silly 😛. Sorry about that, I thought you would catch the joke. Does it not sound like a joke in the context of this conversation?

Haha, I should've done much, much worse. I lost $130 playing in two tournaments over the total of maybe an hour, and then the next night I lost $100 in literally less than 10 minutes playing Let it Ride. My only redemption was that I won $160 back on one hand of Let it Ride (plus a little change in that session, as it was lucky), and then I turned $20 into $50 over half an hour on video poker this morning (one of the luckiest sessions I've seen--I must've been dealt 2 pair from the gates 5 times in that half hour, and in one hand I held a low pair, 6-6, and was dealt back 3-3-3 😀).

Yeah, I actually won $150 during one session, but overall it's tough to actually try and win money there. Best just to think of it as vacation money to be spent 🙂

So the PBK ceremony was interesting... we had to come to the mike, announce our name, major, and plans for after graduation. 60% were going to law school, 30% to med school, and 10% were different... But at least 2/3 of the kids who were going to med school either got into UCLA and Chose UCSF/Columbia, or were going to go to UCLA next year😱
 
Oh and we went to eat Burmese food afterwards, and my grandmother brought halal skittles and gummy stuff, which is made in Malaysia😍😍😍

Neutregena face wash, followed by a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream at night (10% is unnecessarily strong). I could (and often do) wash with any other soap, so long as I use the cream. I tried switch to a salicylic acid cream and I started breaking out again. 🙁 I can't wait till I don't have to use anything anymore.

I was rudely awoken at 3:45 to a string of f-bombs coming from the balcony of the apartment to the right of the one immediately beneath mine... 😡😡😡 And then I could not sleep after that for a while.... Sheesh jerks... they should be more considerate😡😡😡😡😡
