They didn't set mine up yesterday because the cable was blocked and maintenance wasn't around to let the technician into the cable room for the apartment building 😡

i'll have cable and internet when I move in, the service is done through the main office and included with our rent so the modem and cable box will be waiting on me 🙂

edit: I chose to use this crap load of miles I have saved up...awwwwwwwwwww yeah...party over here

I would stay until the 20th, but I am going to San Fran on the 22nd...need to take care of stuff in san diego

I'll have cable but no internet... that will be priority number 1 when I get to town Thursday (after picking up the keys of course).

See, I NEED cable just so that I can at least watch the nationally televised Spurs games 😳 I'm toying with getting NBA League Pass so I can stream all of the Spurs games on my computer... but I think that might be a bit much, especially since I surely won't have time to watch ALL the games 😛

Same hear, two solid years of not using my brain to it's full potential has left me a bit rusty. I think I'm going to bust out the old MCAT book as a little refresher.

HAHA i totally hear ya. i am worried my brain will just go into shock when i force it to read and memorize everything i probably will have to..
senior year my brain was onvacation pretty much so its only been rusty for 1.5 yrs now LOL (including last summer and this summer)
 
i finally went to the doc today and got a copy of my immunizations (so i never have to go back to him again - hes my pediatrician and the only way to get there is for my dad to drive me into middle of nowhere brooklyn lol) and then gave all the necessary blood they needed for the tests. yay! haha this was the hardest thing i had to do
 
in other news, the new cable/internet/phone modem has attacked my computer with enough viruses that it can't run in normal mode at all. I'm safe-moding it and running anti malware. full scans take hours, so its naptime.

thank god this isn't my new computer. I'd be beyond ticked off.

I was going to do that, but my apartment comes with free basic cable. 😀 Debating splitting a tivo with my roommate. I'm discovering that roommates are awesome for cutting the cost of bills.

That sucks. 🙁 I hate getting viruses. It's happened to me twice significantly. First time I lost all my music (school IT wiped my computer and my iPod died around the same time).

I've seen several recipes for liquid cocaine; regardless of what is actually used, it always has plenty of 151-proof rum and other hard, hard liquors 😛
