Yeah we are cutting it close....I have my schedule, and would love to travel to the Big Apple for a weekend getaway. Or I am down for around Christmas time in NYC 😍

in other news, the new cable/internet/phone modem has attacked my computer with enough viruses that it can't run in normal mode at all. I'm safe-moding it and running anti malware. full scans take hours, so its naptime.

thank god this isn't my new computer. I'd be beyond ticked off.

I treat computer viruses as if they are the equivalent to the HIV virus for humans-I completely freak out.

We don't have any "retreats" per se, but it does sound like they have a bunch of activities lined up for us during orientation. Mini-excursions through Brooklyn, from the sound of things.

The six wise men reminds me of the drink I had the night I hooked up with my friend who thereafter became Mr. Quirks... 😳 ... 😀 (it was premeditated. I got drunk so I'd stop being so damn shy). It was called the Seven Dwarves, but this mix also featured grain alcohol. The two mojitos I had after that definitely did their part too.

My alcohol tolerance baffles me. Some days I can handle a lot for my size. And other days it doesn't take very much to do me in.

Alcohol really does bring people together. I learned to enjoy parties and dances once I started drinking before going out.
