I don't think it's gunnerish at all. I have one that's 17" by 24" and I've used it like everyday this week.

hey guys! so i bought my histology book today (new, just came out, no used ones yet) and will wait for the used book sale on sunday to get some others.
glad to see eveyrone is well! and a white board is def awesome! i got a bulletin board for this year and am enjoying that immensely as well.

I have a faux beard and I have seen other people with trim beards, and as long as it is not hobo like, you will be fine.

Yay! Wait, are we the only ones who do not have histo yet? We start histo/cell bio in January after Anatomy lab ends...


Oof, I just ate too much. Studying and fasting is not too bad, but come 6:30, I have to stop because I cannot function anymore. And then 8-9:30 is dinner/ food coma... Good thing I am a morning person, so I get 6:30-9am for a good chunk of studying😀

It's weird how yesterday I felt really confident and today I feel like I'm behind again even though I put in the same amount of studying...

There's really no reason to memorize pKa values for amino acids. Almost any doctor would tell you that they never need to know those and if for some rare reason they needed to, they are of course readily available on the net or in books.

I just memorized all the relevant pKa's for the amino acids.

Asp and Glu are 4, Arg is 12.5, Lys is 10.5, His is 6, Cys is 8, and Tyr is 10.

I'll probably forget this by the time our block exam rolls around though 😛

Yea, Im sure there is some little biochemical process or another that each one of us has to memorize that makes up for it. The devil is in the details...

I just woke up after going out til 4 am last night. I didn't study at all yesterday so I have to make up some of that work.

Happy Birthday Sarah!

Practice practical this morning - I did pretty well. Missed 7 of 41. Definitely happy with that at this point. The real test is Sept 14 i think... the first monday after labor day. So plenty of time to finish decided between arteries and nerves.

Our brand new yogurt place opened today. It's called berry berry good... and from what I gather, it's very similar to pink berry.

It's pretty much amazing. I'm in love.

I wish I felt that way. For some reason I cannot relax, when I take the day off. I originally planned on taking days off, but I think that I'm better of studying a bit everyday.

Yeah, I was pretty caught up with Monday-Thursday's lectures though, so I just needed to do yesterday's stuff, which didn't take too long.

I can't make myself want to study anatomy... I actually enjoy the lecture, but I'm not motivated (yet) to look at it outside of class. We'll see how that changes about 2 weeks before the first exam.

:laugh: I am your opposite. I only want to study Anatomy. I'm having a lot of trouble motivating myself to study everything else. I have glanced a bit at Physio and some online biochem resources, but I need to do more than glance at them if I want to learn anything.

I need to clear off my desk and start using it instead of studying on my big armchair.

Haha, I've turned my desk into my goof around on computer area, my couch is now my study area.
