UCLA does have a cruddy football team... After they lost to BYU 59-0, I just stopped even looking up the final scores to have something to talk about during interviews, where the conversations, just like on the Texas thread, ultimately turn into a football discussion... Can you tell I do not follow football at all.

Also, how come you guys are on SDN rather than celebrating Christmas Eve... not that I mind😀

I never really understood what was supposed to be celebrated on xmas eve...... There's no thanksgiving eve, or happy new year eve. I'm sure it has something to do with the story of jesus christ, but i dont really know. No one celebrates CHRISTmas anymore anyways. Its completely commercialized. My family isnt really that big on xmas eve, if you havent guessed. We spent the whole day together doin family stuff, and now are just watchin movies!

Seriously? My parents sleep early... but my brother is a teenager, so he sleeps around 11-12 and sleeps in since it is a break... and my sister is the night owl, so she is usually up till minimum 12... I usually sleep around 10pm since I wake around 5am during the school days but during the breaks, I let my mind rot, and sleep late and wake up late...

Well, I also sleep early...But it is so I can go running... I hate the gym so I run in order to stay in shape... Also I am a morning person, and I love watching the sunrise while running... I run at night when if I am feeling lazy, but some parts of the bruin night trail is kind of freaky...

But because of the stupid rains I can't go running... I think I have gained 10lbs during break because of my mom's cooking at her disposal, and her excitement that we are all back, plus the fact that we had a bunch of parties and lots of good leftover Indian food as a result of that... and the fudge/ mousse/ and rice krispies might also factor into it...🙄

I slept for 10 hours last night, and I woke up at 10, so I am not sleepy at all...and I am stuffed full of chinese food, so I am not gonna sleep until some of it is digested... I do not wanna have scary dreams about rejections...:scared:

with 5 acceptances? Pish posh. :xf:for LA though. They didnt even give me a secondary, still trying to figure that one out.

Well, at least you get to stay in California next year... I am just waiting on UCLA at this moment... although I would LOVE to go to Dartmouth😀

Oh, hey, since you are gonna be in Irvine, you should check out the Woodbridge Dollar Theatre... You can watch slightly old movies for $1 for matinee or $1.50 at night... It is great especially if you miss a movie due to tests, and do not wanna wait until it comes out on DVD.

Don't worry, my "NBA buddies" haven't replaced West Coast solidarity just yet!

And I just realized that was a terrible trivia question...I'm facebook friends with two of the three contestants!

We did lose to Standford though, so most of our credibility goes out the door :laugh:

No...I'm so not! Just trying to lose weight before the spring/summer...and seeing as we're graduating in a semester and have a lot of free time since interviews are almost over, I thought this was as good a time as any. 🙂

Nah, I love california...that's where everything goes down. Oregon's nice but its a grass is greener on the other side kind of thing...which applies to everyone but CA and TX residents it seems!

Yeah, I love basketball! Like hours a day of it! 🙂 But I don't watch, so all that NBA conversation made no sense to me.

Oregon is also super liberal also... I like that... I am half super liberal and half super conservative... so I am just an oddball in general...

No waaay, I play basketball 5 or 6 times a week...usually at least 2 hours. It's my most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world! Besides SDN of course. Berk, if I'm we're ever in the same place we gotta go 1 on 1 😀

I am very fiscally democratic, meaning I like big government, support welfare, social security, universal healthcare, and also things like gun control, no redistricting...etc...
But I am socially conservative as in I am pro life, pro prop 8 etc...🙄

Ohh it's on, crb! If I go to OHSU's second look, we're finding a court in Portland.

:laugh: yeah, I do play with the dudes. I love it when the short guy who doesn't know how to play calls defense on "the girl." But most are really nice when defending me until I get a couple points, then they get mad...I love the leniency though. Guys push too much when they play.
