haha yeah, 4 people, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. we thankfully had a tv in our bedroom but our roommates didnt so they f*cking hogged the living room and kitchen! and are f*cking neat freaks! they want to clean the bathroom every week!
needless to say, it wasn't the best but thankfully neither me nor my bf were particularly stressed about it, but i think we have definitely had enough of roommates. i do miss my college roommates. they also got an apt but i decided to live with my bf.. but boy did we have a lot of fun... I miss them..🙁
 
I want to have a 1 bedroom apartment over the next four years. I want to amass so much junk that I will be forced to do my residency in Baltimore 😀

oh gosh...did you watch college football this year? Here we go again...SEC'ers piss me off (in a fun and competitive way). The SEC was HORRIBLE this year.

LSWHO, Georgia, Auburn, and Tenn. we all highly overrated!!!!! OMG I am so hyped now!!!! Anybody in LA want to play football???? LOL

I received a full non resident tuition scholarship to University of Louisville on Christmas eve! Apparently some schools send them out quicker than others..
 
Woohoo, I am back from my retreat.

I met an ortho surgeon who did his residency at JHU and he works in the Valley and used to teach at UCLA, and still has quite a few contacts at UCLA! Awesome!!!!!😀 He is probably one of the richest people, but he is so humble and down to earth that it is awesome. I hope when I am a physician I do not let it go to my head... although I would love to fly first class however (referencing the old posts)

But he really liked UMD, and told me all about them, so I am now confused about UMD versus UTSW... Although I did find it very funny that he thought Vandy was a really low tier school!😱 But I do look at apartments, but I am still waiting to see if California shows me any love before I put down a deposit for an apartment, or buy a house... considering that the housing market sucks🙄

I am also really sad that there were only 4 pages to read... come on, berk, crb, ryserr and I used to do 3 pages every night...

Thanks it was a lot of fun. I played basketball with my brother and his friends there also, and my brother is 5'3'' and I am 5'10'' and he would shoot the ball over me while I was guarding him, and he would make it... he is surprisingly good... apparently his friends told me that he plays at school...😕

I also was trying to be nice to the little kids that were there... there was this creepy guy who was being mean, and then the kids came up to me and started asking when they would annoy me, I tried to annoy them... (I actually can... I made my little cousins sick of peekaboo before I got sick of it😱) and then we started talking about something and they just kept going and going... I think they just needed attention, and it reminded me of when I was a little kid... all lonely and needing attention...

Oh yeah, I need to finish Sunny... I have had a 3.5 day break from technology... although I think I needed the fresh air, considering the never ending So Cal rains... wow, I never thought I would ever have to talk about the rains in So Cal...

Heh, that was definitely an interesting thread. It makes me feel very thankful to be with someone I totally trust and who just loves the fact that I'm intelligent and independent.

It was kind of hard for me to control my reactions to some of what was posted. Like some of the stuff Retsage said. I guess it's good practice for becoming a physician -- not everyone you meet will share your views.

I really should be sleeping. I've got a busy 36 hrs coming. tomorrow I am going to start un-decorating before I head to my sister's... and that ten foot tree isn't going to be fun.

no prob. I only have to get one series in addition to what I alrdy have (hepB) but I'm opting for Gardasil, some boosters, a new pneumonia, and anything else they'll give me.

I didn't get a lot of optional shots as a baby bc I would get fevers and have seizures... so I only got the reqds

You know, I was confused at first. But I think he's referred to himself as a guy before in other threads.

You know, his comments wouldn't bother me so much if they weren't 'partially right', I think. The truth is distorted by a rather intense gynophobia...

Wow, that thread is nuts...
but to share a personal anecdote, which would be better recieved here... I apparently got a wedding proposal from my dad's friend's wife's sister's family for their daughter, after they heard I had been accepted to medical school...:laugh:and they live in Maryland...:laugh:

Okay, this is absolutely nuts, first for this to make sense, I come from a rather* religious and conservative Indian family, so we do not date... we have arranged marriages... but seriously I thought that was funny cuz it is usually the guy's side that proposes, and my parents do not know the family, who it is, and what not:laugh:

My dad turned the offer down nicely, but I thought it was still funny... who knew I was apparently a "catch" considering that I am 21, a few pounds shy of being overweight, balding, and I do not have a bachelor's degree yet, do not have a source of income, or a trust fund to live off of, and I am also very immature when it comes to these kinds of things...😕😕😕
 
Also, its funny, I look at random mdapps and there are more and more 2010ers popping up...

I do... I make the final decision😎, but basically all of the "dating" is left to my parents "dating" the other set of parents:laugh:, and I see the end result... and will get to decide yes or no... but the bad part is, my parents and I have rather different standards🙄... but then again, I know nothing about this, so maybe what I want is not really what is right for me???😕

I see the Tylenol PM isn't working...
 
well as long as she has big boobs, a nice face, and you are able to carry a conversation with her...it really doesnt matter .😀😛
