I'm sorry Glory but I dunno if OSU is going to be able to get it done. Don't know if they can handle the speed of Texas. I'm rooting for Texas. Even though I shouldn't because I am still mad about the m beating my Trojans a couple years ago!

Ohio State has let me down soo hard the last several years. I refuse to root for them again until they actually win something.

I always liked BC football. By the way, your avatar is my favorite on SDN. 😀

Yeah not so much. They played a great game. I am more so mad that SC got out played the way they did. My cousin played for Oregon St a couple of years ago so I was happy for him.

Oh right on. I still think the BCS is a crap system though. SC only ended up with that one loss...so who is to say which they didn't deserve to go while Florida and OK get to play for the title. Let them all duke it out!

you love BC football? And you appreciate my avatar? I think I'm in 😍 haha

Does anyone have any opinions as to whether I should take physiology or anatomy next semester? Is one better than the other? 😕 Which one is more 'helpful' for med school...?

Any and all opinions welcome.

I say take physiology. I have been told that it is better to take that instead of anatomy.

hmm does your anatomy have dissections?

The BCS is a LOAD OF CRAP!!! SC lost to Oregon St @ Oregon St and they are a ranked team and was on the verge of winning the Pac-10, while Florida lost to Ole Miss(Sorry OMBD!) @ home and Ole Miss wasn't even ranked or that impressive. SC held their opponents to 7.8ppg and shut out 3 or 4 teams completely. We need a playoff system badly!

Ole Miss just blew out Texas Tech. Period, end of story. Florida is infinitely more deserving to be in the championship game than USC. That being said, yes the BCS is still crap. This time though, they got it right (in terms of the BEST 2 teams, yet in terms of the most deserving team, Oklahoma should be out, Texas in).

That's weird, at my school we have a Anatomy and Physiology series rolled into one course. I have heard that anatomy doesn't help as much as you would think but that could just be hearsay. Sorry i couldn't be of more help.

Word. Ole Miss did pull it together and hammer Texas Tech though, so I'll give em credit for that.

I think Utah has a legit case. If you go undefeated, what more can you ask for?

Actually, looking at the course that 'most' people take, I think it's a combo anatomy-physiology course. So maybe that's what I should take.

But yeah, thanks for the advice, all of you. I can't believe I'm voluntarily taking a class at 7:25 AM but hopefully it'll be a good course and helpful for medical school.

Eh, Utah needs to schedule a USC, an LSU, or an Ohio State before I would say they had a legit argument for being champs. Alabama, in my opinion, was always overrated, yet they played in a major conference and were undefeated for so long that they mathematically had to be number 1. If Utah replaced one of their blah wins with a win against a team of at least the caliber of... I don't know like Oklahoma State, then yeah I'd be willing to listen to them argue to be in the BCS championship game.

Until then, no.

I def give them credit for that! They played an awesome game without a doubt. But just because you get up for your bowl game and win doesn't mean that you are a great team. I was impressed by their victory!

Haha, you know, I was thinking the same thing and then I realized I'd probably be happier with a 7:25AM class. The first few days are gonna hurt BADLY given that I have a bad habit of staying up until 3AM, but if you get up at 6:30 every morning, you stop feeling it after a while.

Utah didn't play anybody. The Mountain West conference is weak. They did go undefeated which is a great deal, but I would like to see them play more games against other conferences. They beat Alabama but was everybody really that impressed by Alabama?

Easier said than done. Scheduling non-conference games usually happens years in advance. They played everyone on their schedule and they beat them all, and that's more than any other team can say. I should clarify though, I think they deserve a shot in a playoff.

😱
I can't function without my sleep. It's gonna be a problem next year because I am a night owl. Something's gotta give if I have to head to 8am lecture every day!

I can agree with this. If you go undefeated and you are a non-bcs school, you deserve a shot to see if you can play with the USC's, Oregon, OU's, UF's, Texas, etc.

final thought: ole miss ISNT the best in the country, but they are 25th as of last week... and got better and better as the year went on. For a new coach and a young QB, it was an awesome year. Of course, I'm partial 🙂

I'm pulling for texas tonight.

And I'm LOVING running. 3/4 of a mile tonight. I should be able to pull off 1 mile tomorrow. Sounds pitiful I know, but I'm not sure that I've ever run a mile....

See, I'm usually fine with 8AM lecture provided that the lecture is always at 8AM for 5 days a week. If my earliest classes go from 7:25AM to 9AM to 11AM to 2PM to 11AM, then my sleep cycle gets all wacky.

But yeah, no more staying up until 3AM this semester.

Whats the topics for anatomy??? My school breaks it up into two semesters. One semester is just musculoskeletal anatomy and the 2nd semester is everything else. Musculoskeletal anatomy is a bomb ass course, and i would suggest anyone take it! But then again, physiology is really awesome too. You seriously cant go wrong, I'd take whatever sounds more interesting. Anatomy is cool to learn, but physiology is even cooler b/c you are learning how everything works and relates to each other. You also cant take physiology with out going over some anatomy, so youll get the best of both worlds (just not as in depth of anatomy). What about taking both!!! I'm a little biased, as a kinesiology major.

My friend and I went to the driving range to hit some golf balls today. It was like his 3rd time going ever, and yet he swears he is Tiger Woods. Anyway, we went to fill our buckets with the golf balls, and he pushed the "start" button for the machine to spit out the balls, but he forgot to put a bucket underneath the hole where the balls come out so 100+ balls spit out all over the floor. I was laughing uncontrollably.

They played a great game to end their year. An impressive victory to say the least!

It isn't pitiful at all. At least you are doing it. I played college football and I don't know if I could run a mile right now!

Where did you play/what division?

Back to every day 8 oclocks starting tomorrow. I'll be so sleepy until I get used to being up again. ugh.

TOP!

hey olemiss FB friend request me! :luck:

Nice! Whatd you play? I guess RB or DB.

DB baby! Defense wins Championships, Offense sells tickets! I love defense. That's why when the falcons linebackers bit on the running underneath and let the tight end go by untouched on a 3rd & 16 really burned my hide!!!
