Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It's funny how it's like a secret club. People on the outside don't really understand, but the people that are already in are really excited and encouraging. I really think being engaged is the reason old (married) friends have been so ready to re-connect. It's like couple-dating is crack to these people.

Speaking of secret clubs, PM LET to join the secret fb group👍

Yeah, it was a good size. We had about 150 guests. It was our wedding party that was large. Our wedding party alone was 24 people! 😱 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsman.
wow somebody is very popular haha

if e and my bf got married it would be the weirdest wedding in history. Our familiers are VeRy different

It's funny that you say that cuz that was one thing that my wife could not wait for. All she could talk about is how when we get married, we can have couple nites and sit around and drink wine! Hahahaha!

aww, congrats lfw!

I haven't got two miles yet... I'm fairly close. if I slowed down my run I'd have it. I'm sure by next week I will. Had a headache tonight so didn't do too much. just a mile. (funny how last week that was soooo far)

So how did you and the soon to be Mrs. Words meet?

It was mainly because my wife is in a sorority and she had all of the gurls that she crossed with in it and she has 3 sisters and a cousin who is like a sister. So I really had no choice but to call in the reserves!

You will get there in no time. If you keep this up, you can run a marathon by the time you enter med school😀

Ours is only going to be ~100 people. We're paying for it ourselves, so that kinda puts a cap on things.

We are still paying for ours to this day! We didn't go over board. We were really blessed cuz things didn't cost that much. the thing that really got us was the reception and having to pay for people's plates.

Nice. However, she is the soon to be Mrs. Lastname-Words. She does have a pretty good career already.

We met in college on a fundraising board. We had known each other for about 3 years before that. I'm just glad she had the guts to ask me out on our first date!

100 people will be plenty... you'll be surprised how many that seems like once they arrive!

Y'know, I would've thought the same thing (especially since we have several mutual friends), but family alone took up 45 spots. Then you have to start placing your friends into categories to decide who to invite. Kinda sucks.

We're trying to keep it simple, but there are a lot of people coming in from out of town, so we want to make it worth their while. We're getting married in a city where neither of our familes or friends live, so that makes it a little hard.

That's so sweet & funny. She took charge!

I'm planning on keeping my last name and hyphenating. I figure i'll probably be practicing already before I get married....

this forum is too adorable for me right now... I need to take a break haha

That's funny because she did the same thing. She was a little upset that her favorite girl's name didn't really work with my last name, but she said she made her peace with that after our 3rd date.

That's funny. My wife asked me for my number as well! We might not be married had she not asked me out! LOL!

Does anybody else think it's funny how we are terrorizing the class of 2014 thread!

Yeah, scary thought, huh?

She asked me out first, but to an even 2 weeks away. My manly pride wouldn't really stand for that, so I made sure to ask her out to dinner the next day for the upcoming weekend. So technically, I asked her out for our first date, but she was the first one to ask for a date.

Does this mean it is socially acceptable for women to ask men on dates now?
