Actually no - this was an audition for the amusement park I worked at in the fall. it's the same choreographer we had for that show, but back then I didn't even know that I had been invited to interview at Maryland (she lives in Baltimore, BTW).

My callback is on the 15th. I'm super excited! I'm so torn, though, because if I'm offered both, I'll want to do both, which is just not possible, unless I want to run myself into the ground this summer...

Wow, she commutes all the way from Baltimore to the amusement park that shall remain nameless? Isn't that a really tough commute?

There are only about 2 weeks of rehearsal so she's only with the performers then. The park pays to keep her in a hotel during the rehearsal process (this past fall we only worked with her for a total of 4 days).

PS - If you really wanted to know what park... it's on my Facebook under "Employment" in the info tab. 😀

Oh I know which one it is... I asked you about it on your mdapps a while ago, if you remember... I was just trying to maintain a degree of anonymity for your sake🙂

Yeah...I'm stuck at home with pchem books! But I did take 4 hours off to play basketball. And an hour for lunch with friends. And another hour for coffee with another friend. Ahh who am I kidding...this is the first time today I open a book.

Unfortunately this is not how I would like to spend my saturday night, but eh... I have to study and catch up on homework and research since I had my 5 day vacation in Virginia....

It was a LOI, sent on 1/20. I have to get this update letter in before they make decisions, though, so I'll send it Monday or Tuesday... I have done a LOT in the past year, and I think it all makes me a better fit for Columbia. 😀

Well I respect his opinion a lot - he was an English major in college and he received a nearly full-tuition scholarship to law school where he is #2 in his class and already has multiple job offers post-graduation. He really wants me to get in to Columbia as well so he's been giving me lots of advice with my letters.

Hmmm, let's see... I've had the following in the past 3 hours: 1 can diet Mountain Dew Code Red, 1 can Diet Pepsi with Lime, 1 can Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi, 1 20 oz. bottle of water. I'm a drinkaholic.
